About Ugg

Ugg Australia is the ultimate resource for luxury and comfort in footwear. Starting from humble beginnings, a young Australian surfer moved to California in 1978 with a bag full of sheepskin boots. The boots quickly became popular in the California surf community, but caught a big break when they were acquired by Deckers Outdoor Co. in 1995. Since then the demand for Uggs has exploded thanks in part to their product expansion and endorsement by celebrities like Oprah. Ugg uses only the highest quality sheepskin which is much more dense and comfortable than the synthetics used by other brands. It wicks away moisture keeping feet cool and dry. Also, the sheepskin is naturally thermostatic so it will keep bare feet warm in temperatures as low as -30 degrees and cool in temperatures up to 80 degrees. The foot beds of many styles have Poron memory foam to add to the comfort and incredibly luxurious feel of the Uggs shoes. If you love your Ugg boots, give their slippers or casual shoes a try; you won't be disappointed. Treat yourself or someone you love to the best of the best. Ugg makes a limited quantity of boots each year, so it is wise to shop early. Many of our sizes were sold out by the beginning of December last year. New Cardy boots will be arriving and May. All other boots will not be restocked until August.
